Acre is pleased to be partnering with a well known and forward thinking global insurance firm to hire an Improving Health Advisor to join the newly created Wellbeing and Sustainability team, in their London office.
The role will support the Head of Improving Health (HiH) in delivering key activities in line with their 2020 vision and assist in the management of their global NGO partnerships.
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the HiH in shaping the company's strategic direction on improving world health; bringing in the best external thinking to challenge and shape their ambitions
- Working with the company's Partnerships Lead to ensure visibility across external partnerships and integration in the wider programme
- Supporting on communications activities to help build the company's external reputation
- Providing secretarial support for the Improving Health and Wellbeing governance and leadership bodies, Executive Board and Steering Group; this will include agenda preparation, action summaries and tracking
- Acting as an ambassador of the team internally and externally
To be considered for the role, you must have a sustainability background with an interest in health and wellbeing; and have the ability to understand clinical and wider health issues.
You will also:
- Have exceptional stakeholder engagement and management skills, with a high degree of collaboration and proactivity
- Be organised with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Work in a consultative style with an emphasis on persuasion and influence
- Have experience working across multiple disciplines including corporate affairs, internal and external communications and sustainable business
